How we process information you give us

Any personal information you give to us will be processed in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Minster Church of St. Andrew (its PCC, Clergy and Staff) will not use any data for purposes other than those expressed when it is collected. We will not contact you unless specified and we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Controlling your personal information

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the address provided on this page. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

You have the right to view the personal information we hold for you. If you would like to see this information, or if you would like to make a CCTV request, you can make a written subject access request addressed to the Rector via the church office. The information will then be made available to you within 40 working days, subject to a small administrative fee.
